LÁSZLÓ KRASZNAORKAI
A Master of Visionary Prose
We are thrilled that the profound writer László Krasznahorkai has received the Nobel Prize. One of the contemporary greats, Krasznahorkai was in invitee for the Almost Island Dialogues 2013, where he gave a long talk and an unforgettable reading from the work Animalinside. We also pubslihed a long excerpt from his first book Satantango, in 2008, in poet George Szirtes' brilliant translation. And once again an excerpt from Seiobo There Below, translated by the gifted Ottilie Mulzet. We published also an interview with him, by our editor Sharmistha Mohanty, held in Budapest in 2012.
Here we give everyone an opportunity to listen to his reading in 2013.
